MAGDRL

Helping homeless Danes find Furever Homes

MAGDRL is staffed completely by volunteers. Like all humane groups, MAGDRL is in the unique position of helping both humans and pets. In our case, the pets are Great Danes and mixed Dane dogs, and the people are those who have or want the companionship of the breed or, often, just dogs in general.

All of the dogs that come through our rescue program are spayed or neutered and fully vetted before being adopted.

Rescues In Need

Hercules needs our Help

Hercules came to MAGDRL in October 2024 from a breeder/hoarding situation.  He came into rescue with stitches in his neck from being bitten and bullied by other dogs as well as having heartworm, ehrlichia, and liver issues (possibly related to the heartworm.)  He also will need to be neutered after his heartworm is resolved.  Please consider donating to help our rescues in need.
