Hank is a 3 year old neutered male Great Dane. Through no fault of his own he is currently up for adoption. When he was younger he was being trained as a service dog. However, he could not contain his excitement when he saw other animals, so he failed that job. He went to live with a family for the past year or so who had small dogs, but Hank plays a little bit rough for a small dog and uses his paws too hard on them while playing. He came here for training with me recently to learn how to be calm around the other animals. During his stay with me here, his owners got divorced and neither of them can keep him. He has absolutely no aggression at all, and is extremely sweet and loving. He has lived with dogs and cats. One of my chickens recently flew into his dog yard and he did not harm it, although it did have a lot of saliva on it LOL. He is crate trained, leash trained and housebroken. He knows all of his obedience commands. He’s a very good boy and will make somebody very very happy. He is currently located near Harrisonburg, Virginia.
