Meet Zeus: A Gentle Soul Looking for a Loving Home
Zeus has a heartbreaking story. He was recently rescued from an abusive situation, where he and several other animals faced unimaginable hardship and pain. Zeus’s past has left him with a gentle, timid nature, but he’s still incredibly sweet.
He’s a dog who, despite everything, still has so much love to give.
Zeus is around four years old and has been neutered and fully vaccinated. He’s housetrained and learning to walk on a leash, taking brave steps toward a new life. Living in a quiet, patient home would mean everything to Zeus, as he adjusts to feeling safe for perhaps the first time in his life.
This sweet boy is shy around men, flinches at sudden movements, and jumps at loud noises.
He’s still learning that he doesn’t have to fear being hit or hurt, that he’s safe, and that gentle hands will only offer kindness. We believe that with the right family, Zeus will blossom and learn to trust fully.
